However, Microsoft Corporation did not approve of their character being used for the program and BonziBuddy changed its character to the widely known purple gorilla. Due to the fact that it was a part of a malware program, people were initially worried about its potential insecurity, however the concerns died down when it was revealed that ACS files don't contain executable code and therefore cannot carry malware.
