Help:Dealing with errors
This is a list of errors that may occur on Frontierpedia and how to solve them. These errors range from simple ones that have an easy fix to devastating ones that would require you to contact Konnor through Discord in order for him to make changes to the site itself to resolve them.
Too many user accounts have been created for your IP address.
The solution to this is using a VPN, a proxy server, or a different browser to create your Frontierpedia account. If you are currently using a VPN and receive that message, you may have to turn it off temporarily to create an account.
The file being uploaded has the same name as an existing file.
The solution would be to use a different file name for the file and then continue to upload it.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing.
As the error implies, there is a file missing preventing the display of an image. If you have the original file, you may upload it under the same name through Special:Upload.
Error creating thumbnail: Invalid thumbnail parameters.
This is an issue with JPEG/JPG files when its file size is set larger than the JPEG/JPG file itself. It can be fixed by using the original size or sized down version of the JPEG/JPG when using JPEG/JPG images.
Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in.
This is probably due to a change regarding your network such as swapping to a different Wi-Fi network. The solution is to refresh the page as normal and then you can continue working on your edit.
A database query error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software.
The solution to this is to contact Konnor himself through Discord, as this error is due to something going wrong internally inside the wiki.
